Now in its second year, Surf City Nights is a weekly street fair that takes place along a closed-off section of Main Street in downtown Huntington Beach. Spend an evening by the beach and enjoy a farmer’s market, entertainment, sidewalk sales, children’s activities, and specials from local restaurants.

Mariners Church invites the community to spend summer Saturday nights on the newly re-landscaped, 50-acre campus of lakes, streams and lawns. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and family for an evening of fun, fellowship, food, live music and children’s activities on the Giant Lawn.
Attendees can bring a picnic dinner or purchase food and desserts on the patio. All activities are free and open to the public. No advance registration is required.

Explore Orange County’s only butterfly house, home to OC native butterflies and their host and nectar plants. Buy native butterfly host and nectar plants. Visit the Butterfly House on Saturday, May 2nd from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach.
Start your own butterfly garden! Visit our “Natures Gifts” store to purchase eco-friendly, locally produced, organic, recycled and sustainably produced products. Receive a butterfly or caterpillar face painting. Go on a nature scavenger hunt in the Center. Create butterfly themed crafts and plant a native plant seed to grow at home. Play “eco-games,” make crafts out of recycled materials and brew up some “green” cleaner.

Homeward Bound, a group of five musicians on guitar, banjo, bass, and mandolin present an interactive musical event for the whole family ,little ones as well as grandparents. Listen, sing along and learn about this great folk music and the instruments that create it. Centennial Farm is a three-acre working farm at the OC Fair & Event Center created to educate youth about agriculture and its importance to daily life.
The Farm is home to fruit and vegetable gardens, livestock, and the Millennium Barn. Children and adults can view pigs, chickens, cattle, goats and more while strolling though gardens of lush vegetation. We do ask that you please do not pick our crops as they are used for educational purposes. Centennial Farm offers tours as well as general public hours.

Note: The Millennium Barn and Century Barn close at 3:20 p.m.
Admission and parking for Centennial Farm are free provided there are no property-wide events scheduled. Please check the property Event Calendar to see if your visit will be affected. Property-wide events will be noted as “all grounds.” Centennial Farm is closed weekday mornings to accommodate scheduled school tours.
To draw eyes and minds to some new high-rise condos, ‘3000 The Plaza’ in Irvine is gathering retailers and restaurants on Saturday for a street fair. The general public is also invited to this event which will occur from Noon to 5pm.
Enjoy some of the following:
Free samples of spring rolls, noodle dishes and chicken from Phans 55, a Vietnamese bistro and bar; wine tastes; giveaways from Red Bull, Sports Club Irvine and Renaissance ClubSport. Salsa dancers will also do their thing.
The fair takes place from noon to 5 p.m. At 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., tour guides will guide willing guests through the luxury high-rise flanking the 11,000-square-foot retail center. The high rise features the first rooftop in the county.
