Not sure where to take your kids for Halloween that’s safe? Try Toys R Us this year, as they offer a safe Halloween destination for families.
In the true tradition of focusing on kids, Toys R Us will be providing a Safe, Fun Environment for Kids to Trick “R” Treat.
Customers can visit any Toys”R”Us store – dressed up in their ghoulish garb – on Saturday, October 31 from noon to 3pm to participate in a spooktacularly safe Halloween celebration. Toys”R”Us store employees will also be dressed in costume, showing off their spooky best.
Children ages three and up who attend Geoffrey’s Trick “R” Treat Parade will receive a complimentary, reusable bag, which they can fill up with goodies and giveaways (while supplies last) as they parade around the store with everyone’s favorite mascot, Geoffrey the Giraffe.
Within each complimentary Trick “R” Treat bag, children will find Geoffrey’s Halloween Safety Pledge, providing a list of important safety tips that kids and parents can review at home. Kids can take this pledge and have their parents sign it as a promise that they will follow the safety tips to help ensure their Halloween is fun-filled and accident-free.
Additionally, to help kids stay safe on Halloween, Toys”R”Us has updated its dedicated safety website at Toysrus.com/Safety to feature Halloween-themed safety tips from Safe Kids Worldwide, the world’s leading childhood injury prevention organization.

When you are out trick or treating and are in need of a snack (not the candy you are carrying), stop by a Taco Bell for a free Black Jack Taco. Participating Taco Bell restaurants across the country will be giving out free tacos from 6pm to midnight on Halloween, October 31st.
The new taco with the black shell debuted on the menu earlier this month and contains seasoned beef and Pepper Jack sauce. A perfect snack and great time to try it!

Etnies will host the World Premiere of the movie “Super Charged” – a movie dedicated to skateboard legend and Etnies Team rider Tim Brauch. Brauch – a street-style skater – turned his childhood passion into the life of a champion.
On Friday Etnies will show Super Charged,” – a documentary on the life and times of the late Etnies team rider. The free movie screening will be held outside at Sole Technology at 20161 Windrow Dr. in Lake Forest. If there rain the movie will be shown inside. There will be free tacos and drinks starting 6:30 p.m.

Winter Officially Begins Friday!
Make your plans to visit Mammoth Friday, October 16 and celebrate one of Mammoth’s earliest openings ever. The lifts have only started turning earlier once in our history - in 1994 – and to commemorate this historic special event, lift tickets will be FREE opening day! Just pop over to the ticket counter to get yours. And that’s just the beginning of the fun:
7am – Complimentary hot chocolate and pastries at Broadway Express (AKA, Chair 1) while supplies last!
8:15am - Woolly joins the line for the First Chair.
8:30am - First chair of the season and the opening day banner break-though.
11am - Annual opening day champagne toast on the Main Lodge sundeck.
4pm – Lifts close.
