Bring a blanket to sit on Saturday night, May 30th and watch Transformers projected on a big screen at OC’s Great Park. The Great Park is pleased to present Movie on the Lawn for a second year in a row.
The movie starts at 8 p.m. and is rated PG-13.

Westminster’s skate park is located at Liberty Park, 13900 Monroe Street, Westminster
and was designed to be an “entry level” park for the beginner to intermediate skaters. It gives our young people an opportunity to pursue skateboarding in a safe environment. The skate park is open 7 days a week from 8am to dusk. Helmets, elbow and knee pads are required.

The Regal Entertainment Group who own Edwards and Regal Cinemas are once again offering their summer family film festival beginning on June 16th. It is 9 weeks of free movies for kids and parents. The movies will run every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 10am during the festival. The seating is first come, first serve- you might want to get there a bit early to make sure you get good seats.

If you are in the Garden Grove area, stop by the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival now through May 25th. Admission is free, and you can spend as much or as little as you want on rides and food. Even if you are not big on rides, there is a lot to see while just walking around.

The Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda is offering free admission on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th.
Want to walk through a real presidential helicopter? This is the helicopter
that President Richard Nixon boarded when he left the White House for the last time, travelling to Andrews AFB, en route to his home at San Clemente.
You can also see a presidential limousine that Nixon brought to China with him.
Those are only a few of the attractions at the Richard Nixon Library and
Birthplace in Yorba Linda.
If you haven’t been for a long time, things have changed a great deal at this historic site.
And on Memorial Day, May 25, you can see it for free. Normally admission is $10 for adults, kids 7-11 are $3.75, 6 and under free. Seniors and military with ID get in for $7 and students are $6.
Also on Memorial Day, the 80-piece Placentia Symphonic Band will perform for free at 2 p.m. in the White House East Room.

Infants and toddlers will learn how to be comfortable in the water, how to hold their breath on cue, and how to comfortably lie on their backs in an assisted back float with the help of a parent.
