The Irish Festival will be held on Sunday, March 14th at the Orange County Market Place from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The festivities include Irish-dancing youngsters, music and free green mint ice cream.

The Orange County Market Place is more than just a swap meet, it’s a happening every weekend (except when the fair is on) at the fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, with live seasonal entertainment and lots of stuff to buy.
Normal admission for adults is two bucks, but…..

It’s open every Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. During the year, they sponsor events such as the annual hearse festival at Halloween, pet days, visits from Santa and more.

Etnies will host the World Premiere of the movie “Super Charged” – a movie dedicated to skateboard legend and Etnies Team rider Tim Brauch. Brauch – a street-style skater – turned his childhood passion into the life of a champion.
On Friday Etnies will show Super Charged,” – a documentary on the life and times of the late Etnies team rider. The free movie screening will be held outside at Sole Technology at 20161 Windrow Dr. in Lake Forest. If there rain the movie will be shown inside. There will be free tacos and drinks starting 6:30 p.m.

The place to be on Fridays this fall is Oak Tree at Santa Anita. Patrons will receive FREE General Admission on Fridays, as well as FREE Box Seats, while supplies last.

Screenings will be held on the Attallah Piazza in front of Leatherby Libraries. Parking is available for the public in the Lastinger Structure under the football stadium, with easy elevator access near the piazza – parking is $3 for four hours. All movies begin at 8 p.m. In case of inclement weather, screenings will be moved to the Irvine Lecture Hall on campus.
There is seating but it’s on concrete steps, so maybe you want to either bring a cushion or our own chair. A blanket is also recommended.
